The largest city in the State of Nebraska, Omaha is the shrine town of Douglas County and is located in the Midwestern United States on the Missouri River. The annual baseball tournament, the College World Series, is the top revenue generating event for the city. The Henry Doorly Zoo is a major tourist attraction in Omaha and has attracted more than 25 million visitors over the past 40 years. It was voted as the best zoo in the United States by Reader’s Digest and was ranked as America’s #1 Family Friendly Attractions. Other tourist spots like the Joslyn Art Museum, Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium baseball field, Omaha Children's Museum, and the historic Old Market arts and entertainment district offer a great variety of entertainment for its visitors. All of these attractions also make Omaha NE real estate a well sought after commodity.
Education has played an important role in the development of the Omaha. There are some great institutions that cater to the student’s community of the city.
